Look Paw,"Smart Filter's gone Crazy"

Everyday I check out BoingBoing because they always seem to post some of the best stories and news from what I have seen and because I can (No Smart Filter Here).

In resent days I’ve noticed many updates on the activity of Smart Filter and why there black listing BoingBoing. “Nudity” apparently now I’m black listed for just having this word on my site. Smart Filter catches words and phrases and places you in a category. If you happen to fall in one of these bad categories then who ever uses Smart Filter will be denied access to view your site. Don’t get me wrong if your company needs to filter out bad sites that ACCUALLY contains inappropriate material then by all means purchase a filtering service. Any of you that follow BoingBoing and read through there site religiously as I do, you would know that they are not inappropriate. Sure every so often a story is written that may not be suitable for those under the age of 13, that’s not the point. I have seen more horrifying things on my local news channels then I have on BoingBoing.

If your company is using Smart Filter “I’m sorry to here that.” Don’t be sad though BoingBoing has written an article that can help you get through this terrible mishap.
